Risk Magazine named Tradeweb the OTC Trading Platform of the Year as part of the Risk Awards 2014. In a feature article for the awards, Tradeweb CEO, Lee Olesky discusses the firm’s swap execution facilities (SEFs) and expectations for SEF trading volumes in 2014 once the trading mandate is in place.
In addition, the article quotes Tradeweb President, Billy Hult on the launch of the Dealerweb platform’s index credit default swap trading facility in early 2013, which managed to grab as much as 80% of dealer to dealer volumes by the end of the first quarter of the same year.
