Sara Furber
Chief Financial Officer
Sara Furber is the Chief Financial Officer for Tradeweb Markets, and a member of the Executive Committee. She oversees all of the firm’s finance activities and manages the investor relations and strategic planning functions. She also leads the company’s global corporate development team, including driving forward both organic and inorganic growth initiatives.
Prior to joining Tradeweb in 2021, Furber was the CFO for IEX Group where she led the company’s finance function and oversaw its new business portfolio, including bringing in new significant investors. Before moving to IEX in 2016, Furber held several senior executive positions at Morgan Stanley, including Chief Operating Officer for Wealth Management, and was a member of the company’s Management Committee. She previously served as Chief Operating Officer for Global Corporate and Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, after leading Investor Relations for Merrill Lynch through its merger with Bank of America.
Furber is an active supporter of Tradeweb’s Global Women’s Network. Outside the company, she currently serves on the board of Ronald McDonald House New York and is chair of its Investment Committee. She is a former member of Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering Board of Visitors and was on the board of Rewriting the Code.
Furber has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University.
