Balbir Bakhshi

Balbir Bakhshi is Chief Risk Officer, London Stock Exchange Group plc (LSEG) and a member of the Group’s executive committee. Prior to joining LSEG in January 2021, Mr. Bakhshi was Group Head of Non-Financial Risk Management at Deutsche Bank and served on the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bank Luxembourg S.A. as Chair of its Risk Committee and a board member of London Clearing House Limited.

Before this, Mr. Bakhshi was Global Head of Operational Risk Management at Credit Suisse, where he held a variety of senior roles, including UK Investment Banking Chief Risk Officer and Head of Market Risk.

Mr. Bakhshi started his career at LCH as a risk analyst and holds a B.A. from the University of Westminister and an MSc from Brunel University.
