Tradeweb Wins Swap Execution Facility of the Year at the Global Derivatives Awards 2016!

We are happy to announce that Tradeweb has been named overall Swap Execution Facility of the Year by GlobalCapital, as part of its Global Derivatives Awards 2016. 

The awards honor companies, platforms, services and products that have made an impact on the global derivatives markets in the last 12 months. In a year where the global regulatory push continued to impact derivatives markets across the US, Europe, Canada and Japan, Tradeweb has remained focused on delivering innovative solutions through its SEF, to support clients’ e-trading of swaps, improve liquidity and help reduce systemic risk.

These solutions include the compression trading functionality through which more than $6 trillion in notional trades have been executed on TW SEF and MAC swaps, which have seen more than $1.5 trillion traded to date. Since the launch of SEFs in October 2013, Tradeweb has seen consistent volume growth, and become the leading SEF for interest rate swaps according to ClarusFT.
